How to take our seminars _________________ __________ Seminar Structure: The first slide of the technical topics includes all the seminar modules. We recommend you take the modules in ascending order, without skipping the module slides and take the module quiz without going back and forward on the module slides. If unsure of the quiz answers, review the complete module and then repeat the seminar quiz. Review your answers with our answers. We strongly recommend if you do not have all the answers correct than you go over the module contents at least once more. The same principle applies to the final quiz on the seminar. Module Structure - Each module includes objective, outline, content slides, module quiz, answers to quiz and glossary associated with the module. All module slides are linked serially and designed for you to take the slides in sequence until you reach the module quiz. Module Contents: Objective Page - This page includes what you will learn from this module. Outline Page - This page includes the module contents outline. Content Pages - These pages include the module contents. Module Quiz - These pages include the multi-option questions related to the module contents. Answer to Quiz - This page includes our answers to the module quiz. Module Slides Layout: Each module slide has four areas: Top Navigational Aides Area, Bullets Area, Bullets Commentary Area and Bottom Navigational Aides Area. The glossaries on the module slides are linked to the glossary slide for explanation via HTML links. Top Navigational Aides Area - The area on the first line includes N-GEN Communications logo with N-GEN Communications Web-based Seminars, the second line includes the seminar name and the third line includes two navigational aides: Home and Up. Clicking at 'Home' will take you back to the seminar start slide with 3 options: Start with "How to Take our Seminars", Start with "Seminar Overview" and Start with "Seminar Technical Topics". Clicking at 'Up' will take you to the previous module slide. Bullets Area - On the top, this area on the left-hand side has the module name and on the right-side has the slide number. The second line carries the content heading. The last area carries the slide content bullets or graphics. This area is separated by solid lines from the Top Navigational Aides area and the Bullets Commentary Area. Bullets Commentary Area - This area carries commentary on each bullet. Bottom Navigational Aides - This area includes two navigational aides: Previous and Next. Clicking at "Previous" will take you to the previous module slide. Clicking at "Next" will take you to the next module slide. Clicking at the "Next" On the Module Quiz Answers slide will take you to the "Seminar Technical Topics" slides. Glossary Links - The terms on the module slides are linked to the glossary slide for explanation via HTML link. After each explanation the Back switch takes you back to your viewed slide. How to Navigate Within the Seminar - Start with Seminar Technical Topics, Click on the module you want to take. View all the module slides in sequence, take the module quiz, compare your answers with our module quiz answers, if uncertain of your quiz answers, review the whole module from the start. Once satisfied with the module then proceed to the next module. We recommend that you do not skip modules. Take the final seminar quiz. If uncertain of some topics go back and review the module containing that topic. How to Navigate within a Module - Use the Top Navigational and Bottom Navigational aides to view the module slides. We recommend you review the module slides in sequence. How to take the Module Quiz - Take the module quiz without going back and forward on the module slides. If in doubt review the whole module. When to take the next Module - When you are satisfied you have answered all the module quiz questions correctly then proceed to the next module in sequence. _________________ __________
