Enterprises need these services to operate efficiently. 

Telephone Service - required for internal and external communications. Most businesses use both wire-line and wireless phone systems to communicate.

Answering Service - It is necessary to record all calls otherwise a potential sale may be missed. Most systems either have an answering machine, or use the services of an answering agency or have a voice mail system or voice mail boxes from the telephone company.

Fax Service - It is not essential to have a fax machine to send product information to customers as most fax machine functions have been replaced by the Internet services.

Data Communications - connecting to other offices, suppliers and customers

Local Area Networking - networking local office resources and networking to other branch offices' resources
