Internet addresses are the key to using the Internet. Individuals use mail addresses to send messages to other Internet users, and use host addresses to retrieve files or connect to hosts that provide Internet services. All these addresses are unique.

HTTP    - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol is a connection-orientated protocol used by the World Wide Web service to exchange data. A browser uses this protocol to retrieve information from the Web servers.

John_Doe - User identification obtained from the service provider (Hotmail).

Hotmail - Electronic-mail service provider

Com - Top level domain, Hotmail is a commercial organization.
