Products:
Vyyo provides broadband wireless systems for MMDS, LMDS, 3.5 G Hz, 10.5 G Hz and
unlicensed bands used by telecommunications operators to deliver wireless and
high speed data connections. Vyyo broadband systems consist of wireless hubs
located in base stations and wireless modems that connect to the subscribers'
Personal Computers and LANs. The hub, connected to the Internet or a PSTN
gateway through a router, transmits network traffic via the base antenna over
short distances (1 - 3 miles) or long distances (up to 35 miles) over MMDS
spectrums to modems residing at residential and business locations.
V3000 Wireless Hub manages data communications between V251 modem and router
located in the PSTN's Central Offices or base stations. The hub can communicate
with up to 8,000 end-user modems. V251 Wireless Modem functions over LMDS and
MMDS frequencies.
