These services are for medium-sized and large-sized companies to connect branch offices the main office, transfer bulk data between the two locations and for multi-media applications.

T-1 Service - This service comes in two flavors: Channelized T-1 and non-channelized T-1. The channelized T-1 carries 24 DS-0 channels. The non-channelized T-1 is one complete channel capable of carrying 1.536 M bps data.
Application - PABX to PABX connection, Multiplexing 24 0r higher voice channels, Video transmission.

T-3 Service - A 45 M bps service, used by large corporations to consolidate large data.

Fractional T-1 Service - This service is offered by telephone companies for users who do not require a full T-1 service. The users can pay for the DS-0s needed for their need. As demand grows they can lease more DS-0s.
Applications - Web applications requiring many customers accessing the website (e-commerce).
