SONET Deployment Scenario #1 - A SONET Ring networking a factory, a warehouse, a data center, and the  headquarters of a company. At the same time the customer is connected to a global network via a  satellite link. The SONET rings are deployed by Ameritech. The customer's telecommuters are connected to the SONET rings through the Ameritech Switched network.
