The MMDS Hub could be connected to other hubs or networks via fiber-optical links. It receives the programs and adds local community content for local broadcasting. MMDS systems are intended for a local community.

MMDS systems affordability for the broadcast range of social strata of population having different incomes is considered a very important advantage. MMDS can be applied both as simple and inexpensive solutions for receiving TV programs by the entire urban population and as a value-added TV system providing channel packages for customers who want value for their money. MMDS can also be used for accessing data transmission networks, Internet and telephone services.

        - network management system
        - automatic or manual back-up system
