A main system transmitter broadcasts directly to vicinity subscribers and to a repeater broadcasting to remote subscribers.

Repeaters are used in an MMDS when there is no possibility to establish line of site between the base station antenna and user network terminal antennas. A repeater is a transmitting/receiving complex including transmitting and receiving antennas, broadband amplifiers with filtering modules and feeder links.

At the subscriber end includes wall-mounted antenna, low-noise down converter and a receiver.
